Jessa (noun) – A fearless, sarcastic, non-monogamous Black femme learning, living and loving on Lënapehòkink land (Philadelphia, PA, USA) by way of Atlanta, GA, USA – as an independent creative including model, dancer, actor, vocalist, photographer/videographer, writer, public speaker, event coordinator and staunch advocate for Reproductive Justice, Human Rights, Environmental Justice,  and Sexual and Mental Health.

Best known as the vocalist in Philly's latest punk outfit, SOJI and her role as Festival Director of Abortionpalooza, Jessa has been known to drink the blood of misogynists and will punish anyone in the name of the Moon!

Tiny and powerful, Jessa swapped climbing trees in her youth for climbing poles in her 20’s and is usually found dancing to equal parts Kidneythieves and FKA Twigs on any given night.

As a writer, her style has been heavily influenced by the prose of Toni Morrison, Miranda July, Charles Bukowski, Anaïs Nin and Alex Elle.

Published in the likes of Shout Your Abortion, HUSTLER Magazine, NASTY Vol. 2, and SubvrtMag, Jessa is now working a pilot script for her first sitcom, a memoir and experimental R&B music as a solo artist.
